Job Description
Aevi Real Estate Group is seeking a talented and ambitious Junior Interior Designer to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a creative, detail-oriented individual looking to develop their career quickly by contributing to meaningful, design-led care spaces that promote wellbeing, dignity, and comfort.
You will support the design and delivery of high-end supported living schemes, nursing homes, rehabilitation centres, and mental health hospitals—working on projects that combine clinical functionality with elegant, hospitality-inspired aesthetics. From early-stage concept development to detailed FF&E specification and site coordination, you will be involved in all aspects of the design journey.
This is an exceptional opportunity for a junior designer to gain hands-on experience across a diverse portfolio, while being mentored by senior team members and supported to grow into a lead designer role within a fast-paced, high-expectation environment.
Responsibilities
Assist in developing interior design concepts tailored to healthcare environments
Prepare mood boards, sample presentations, space plans, and layouts
Support selection and specification of high-quality FF&E, finishes, and materials
Conduct research into dementia-friendly, autism-sensitive, and therapeutic design principles
Collaborate with architects, developers, and contractors through all project stages
Contribute to site visits, installations, and design presentations to stakeholders
Requirements
Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related discipline
1–2 years of professional experience (internships and freelance work considered)
A strong portfolio showcasing spatial awareness, materiality, and a refined design sensibility
Interest or experience in healthcare, hospitality, or wellbeing design sectors
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, InDesign, and visualisation/rendering software (Revit)
Strong communication, presentation, and organisational skills
Eagerness to learn, take ownership of tasks, and progress quickly into a senior role
A genuine passion for creating beautiful, functional environments that support care and healing
